PROJECT MANAGEMENT PROCESS (FIVE STEPS)
Project Initiation
It includes project charter which involves an entire summary of a project about the time of the project, nature of the project, activities of the project. The project aim is to increase social awareness among the community members to do physical activity in reducing their weight. Data will collect by an individual using primary research through questionnaires.
Project planning
After preparing project aim and objective next step is to plan a project by determining the scope of a project (Chang, 2016). It focuses on budget, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), communication and risk management plan. The budget of the project states the funding requirement of the project in appointing yoga instructors for alerting community members about their health. WBS involves the delegation of all the tasks and responsibilities among all the project users. Communication plan will help the project manager in conveying project information to the health experts who will take seminars of the community members in explaining the importance of physical activity. Risk assessment approach used by an entity owner helps in identifying the likelihood of all the risks.
Execution
Project campaign for increasing physical activity is launch in the community by convincing the society secretary to inform all the society members to attend the health session by the local health department officials.
Controlling
The success of this project is tracked by evaluating the medical reports of all the members before and after physical activity sessions (Heizer, 2016). Variance analysis is also used to compare the actual and budgeted costs to ensure the project success.
Project Closure
Project checklist prepared by a project manager which includes the execution of all the project activities prescribes by the manager in assistance with the health experts.
